    Mrs. F. S. Simpson was a daugher of Colonel Selwyn King, whose family owned Coombing Park at Carcoar.

    There is a report in The Register, Adelaide, 24 September 1919, p.8, of the judging of cattle and sheep at the Royal Melbourne Show on 22 September 1919, at which A. J. Simpson's cattle won prizes.
