My father was employed especially by a firm situated near the Prince's Bridge at South Melbourne to cast in bronze according to his own formula (which he never revealed) the statues of Robbie Burns and on the others side of St Kilda Road, the bust of, I think, the then Lord Mayor of Melbourne. My father is indicated by a X [Frazer & Vallance, Melbourne, studio]
