  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    N.L.T. Productions Pty. Ltd., an Australian film and television production company, was founded in 1961 by Jack Neary, Bobby Limb and Les Tinker. Its productions include the feature films Wake in Fright and Squeeze a Flower, TV series The Rovers, Woobinda-Animal Doctor, and If These Walls Could Speak, and live TV productions Bobby Limb’s Sound of Music, Dave Allen’s Tonight Show, Barry Crocker’s Sound of Music, Don Lane’s Tonight Show, John Laws’ Tonight Show, Divorce Court, The Unloved, The Barry Creyton Show, Dita, Letter Charades, and The Tommy Hanlon Show.     Approx. 75 photographs of actors who are unidentified or identified illegibly; with agencies' publicity material profiling multiple artists, not filed in the main alphabetical sequence.

    Approx. 145 photographs: publicity photographs for performers and entertainers including Helen Zerefos, Duke Ellington, Avon Long, Lucia Hawkins, Levern Hutcherson, Marian Henderson, dancers Issy Dy and Greg Sims, The Grimaldis, The Austins, Mike Monroe, Mitzi McCall and Charlie Brill, Freddie & the Dreamers, Dick Weston & “Aunt Martha” (puppet), Anni Anderson & Maurice Dean, Johnny Pace & Harriet [Littlesmith], Evie Pikler, Rolf Harris, performers from various Barry Ashtons Productions, The Reno Brothers, Sheila Scott, and other unidentified artists; William McMahon and Gough Whitlam with chat show host; shots of Squeeze a Flower, The Rovers, The Explorers (Marionette Theatre of Australia) and other unidentified productions; Dynamo Moscow and Australia vs Greece soccer photos; portrait of J. Unidentified photographs, and files presenting more than one actor under one casting agency, are filed separately. Other performing artists (e.g. musicians, dancers, entertainers), where clearly identifiable as such, are filed separately.
