Chiefly family photographs of Isobel Bowden's maternal grandparents, Stephen and Charlotte Anne Murphy (nee Gray), including Isobel's mother Reinetta May Murphy (Mrs Eric Kendall Bowden). Includes a small photo album taken at Woodford, Blue Mountains, Christmas-New Year 1917-1918 (6 photographs).

Includes two portraits identified as Mary Hoon (also spelled Hoone), one b.1765, one Reinetta's father's eldest sister; also Sheila, daughter of Stephen's brother Frank Murphy, died of meningitis aged 3; Lucy Murphy (Mrs R. H. Nesbitt?); Nettie Murphy; C. A. Gray (C. A. Murphy) at Bathurst; the Charles Murphys returned from Africa, at Endrin(?); grandfather Murphy and Elma; Elizabeth and Cecily[?] Newman; Elsie Murphy (Mrs Alfred G. Newman); Aubrey, Elma, and Frank Murphy.
