  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Elizabeth Farm was the family home of John Macarthur and his wife Elizabeth. They commenced building it in 1793. In 1904 it was purchased by William Swann. After repairing the house he moved in with his family, members of which lived there until 1968 when it was sold to the Elizabeth Farm Museum Trust.
  • Scope and Content
    Two hand-made iron nails from a slab cottage at the rear of Elizabeth Farm House. The cottage was built ca. 1793 and demolished in 1904.
