  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Rev. George Murray Connor M.A. was a Free Church of Scotland minister and son of John Connor and Catherine Ann Connor (nee Murray) of 'Belvedere', Grafton. He was minister of the Presbyterian Church at Sale, Victoria for 25 years. After retiring in 1912 he moved to Alphington Street, Alphington, Melbourne

    Item 1. Three pieces of material from the wedding dresses of I.W. Longmuir (striped silk), her mother (white muslin), and her "grandmother Courage" (brown silk).

    Item 2. Lock of hair with note 'You won't know me when you come home. Alas, what bare faced youth is this!' Discovered in the family correspondence held by F. G. Connor.
