4. Grandpa Gibson's shop, Gibson & Co., merchant tailors. 289 George Street, Sydney. George Gibson proprietor and a grandson at door. Note horse-hitching post on footpath. George Gibson went bankrupt in 1886. Probably 1880s. Further notes on reverse

6. F.W. White's tennis court (Eric James' grandfather), "Taunton", Watkin Street, Rockdale. The road visible is Harrow Road. Presumably a patriotic celebration during war?

9. St. Philip's Church Hill Society of Bellringers, drag outing, 3 November 1906. Man sprawling in foreground in light suit is George Gibson. Man second from right back row is his son BGL Gibson. The 2 men in front row 1st & 2nd from left are the Dennis twins, one is John Dennis, captain of the bell ringers.
