The New South Wales Women's Rowing Association was formed in 1928. It was a governing organization which coordinated the activities of women’s rowing clubs in New South Wales. In 1928, the Association consisted of three member clubs with a total of seventy two individual members. In 1982 the Association was disbanded as a separate entity and was incorporated into the New South Wales Rowing Association which includes both men and women rowing clubs as its members.
