The Charter of Incorporation of The Clergy and School Lands Corporation (DL ref: MSQ504) refers to a seal which may be this one.

Obverse: Royal seal of Great Britain with inscription on rim: 'Georgius Quartus [George IV] Dei Gratia Britannorum Rex Fidei' Defensor'. Legend: 'Sic Fortis Etruria Crevit', below scene; around rim: 'Aust. Sigillum Nov. Cam.'

DR 106 dated from The Charter of Incorporation of The Clergy and School Lands Corporation of 9 March 1826, with which it is possibly associated. There is no indication of the original association of DR 62.
At the bottom of tin container is a note in unknown hand which reads: 'Originally attached to the Church and School Land Lease Dated 26 Aug. 1823' both title and date appear to be incorrect. The mistaken date may have been due to a misreading of the manuscript which the seal presumably accompanied. The Clergy and School Lands Corporation was not incorporated till 1826: it was dissolved in 1833 and later reorganised under name of Church and School Lands. The seal, however cannot be reasonably dated after the decease of George IV [1830]. On outside base of container the following is scratched 'CBBH 1868'.

Details of the seal at DR 106 are worn and the edges are irregular. Wax impression at DR 62 is less worn that that at DR 106 but has transverse fissure.
