    The collar is in an envelope bearing a note handwriten in ink: 'This piece of a collar was picked up at Port Stephens N.S.W. and handed to my Grandfather W. E. Shaw of Raymond Terrace who was Coroner for the district' [signed] 'W Dixson'.
