    From the papers of the Clinton family, Ashley Clinton, Hants, which comprised papers of Admiral George Clinton, his son Sir Henry Clinton and his two grandsons Sir William Henry and Sir Henry. The letters were tied up in packets by Sir William in the first half of the 19th century.

    The following are lots 235 and 238 sold at Hodgson's 19 June, 1958.
