Thomas Cude (1894-1978) arrived in Australian from England in 1922. He spent time on Nauru, 1939-1942, and 1945-1946 and was head of the Nauru Police Force for 30 years . He was also an employee of the British Phosphate Mining Company. The State Library of New South Wales purchased four Cude photographic albums in 1984. - Description source
