  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Rev. Peter E.S. King held the deaconship in the Brewarrina area of North Western New South Wales from 1982 to 1984.

    Anglican clergyman. Peter King was born in 1945 at Coombing Park near Carcoar, New South Wales. He was ordained as an Anglican priest in 1979 and was attached to Blayney Parish in the Diocese of Bathurst. King studied at the College of Ministry, St Mark's, Canberra and Burgmann College, Australian National University in 1985-1987. During this time he acted as an unofficial part-time College chaplain. Since 1987 King has served in various locations including Orange, Dubbo, Trundle and Peak Hill. In 2001 he was commissioned as Police Chaplain of the Lachlan Command Area (Parkes Shire).
