  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Maurice Barber Bevan Keatinge, civil engineer of Neutral Bay, Sydney, New South Wales embarked from Melbourne, Victoria, on HMAT A62 Wandilla, 6 June 1916 and served as captain and major with B Company, 3rd Pioneer Battalion in France. He was awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. He returned to Australia 27 May 1919. He was an executive officer (plant and material) at Australia House in London at the time of his death on 23 December 1952.
