    R.A. Goldrick, bank clerk of Little Bay, New South Wales enlisted in Sydney on 13 Aug. 1915 aged 25 years and embarked on board HMAT A72 Beltana on 13 May 1916. He was commissioned as 2nd Lieutenant in the 36th Battalion, B Company, A.I.F. He served in France and Belgium in the Armentiers, Ypres and Steenwerch areas from 22 Nov. 1916-13 Apr. 1919, and was awarded the Military Cross. He was discharged on 25 July 1919. He resumed his work in the Government Savings bank of New South Wales, while remaining on the reserve list of officers, reaching the rank of lieutenant-colonel in 1959
