Stuart Alexander Caird Campbell was chief pilot of Douglas Mawson's expeditions to Antarctica, 1929-31. In the 1920s and 1930s he did important aerial survey work in Papua New Guinea and served in the RAAF during World War 2. - Scope and ContentStuart Campbell's reminiscences of early aviation in New Guinea, 1927-1936, with photographs by him (and W. Korn) particularly of the Fly River area. Each photograph is accompanied by a detailed caption.
