- Scope and ContentResidence on Edgecliff Road at left of view would appear to be Fairlight, the home of Mrs. Mary Ogilvie who, according to G.N.Griffiths added the tower (Ref: Some houses and people of New South Wales / by G. Nesta Griffiths. Sydney : Ure Smith, [1949]). Fairlight not in 1858-9 Sands Directory/Eastern Suburbs section, in 1861 Mrs. M. Ogilvie and still there in 1873. Greenoaks was completed in the early 1850's. Glenyarrah in 1856.
