A Henry Edwin Quick is listed as being born in Melbourne, Victoria in 1885. Records list the marriage of Henry Edwin Quick and Eleanor Cumpston in Port Melbourne, Victoria' in 1908. They lived in Armstrong Street, Middle Park, Victoria, between 1909 and 1914.

A Henry E. Quick is listed in directories of the period as living in New South Wales in Stanmore in 1916 to 1917, and Mosman and Neutral Bay between 1918 and 1924. By the late 1920's Henry Edwin and Eleanor Quick lived in Bower Street, Manly. Henry Quick practiced as an accountant. He died in 1949.
