  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Francis Adams (1862-1893) came to Australia from England in 1884 suffering from tuberculosis. During the 1880s he contributed poems, short stories and critical articles to the Bulletin. He returned to England in 1890 where he committed suicide. His published fiction includes John Webb's End (1891), Australian Life (1892) and The Melbournians (1892)
