    This drawing is attributed to James Wilson as he produced a number of pastel portraits in the Macleay River district and is said to have married Ann Chapman's daughter.

    Undated.

    Dated by comparison with a portrait in oils of Ann Chapmans' daughter which is privately owned, but of which a photographic copy is held at Mitchell Library call no. PXA 2144/BOX 100/Item 37 Elizabeth Cheers and Frederick Henry Cheers.
