    Corporal Francis Vincent Addy, an iron turner of Sydney, New South Wales enlisted aged 26 years, 15 Jun 1915 and embarked from Sydney on board HMAT A54 Runic, 9 Aug. 1915. He served with the 4th Battalion, A.I.F. at Gallipoli Nov.-Dec. 1915, in Egypt Dec. 1915-Mar. 1916 and in France and Belgium, 1916-1919. In Jan. 1920 he returned to Sydney on the Marathon and was discharged from the army Mar. 1920
