    Sydney-born poet and scholar, Christopher Brennan, published three volumes of poetry between 1897 and 1918. His interest in esoteric and mystical thinking from the poetry of Mallarmé and the European Symbolists peaked between 1897 and the publication of his book, Poems, in 1913.
