    Unsigned and undated. Titled 'George Fife angas' in pencil on reverse, and in ink on lower edge of original mount, now removed.
  • Attributions / conjectures

    Attributed to W. Mcleod and approximately dated from comparison with engraving, signed 'WAH Sc' lower left, published in Garrah, Andrew, Picturesque Atlas of Australasia. Sydney, 1886-1888, v. 2, p. 416 (Mitchell Library F990/G). for which the drawing was probably prepared. 'WAH Sc' frequently appears in conjunction with the initials 'WMcL' on engravings published in Garran compared with v.1, p. 39 and P2/298, v. 2, p. 470 and P2/304, v. 3, p. 541 and P2/295, etc.
