Inserted between frame and print, one docket from Tyrell's dated 29/9/52. 'Received from Mr. Howell the sum of £12 in payment for Lows caricature of Henry Lawson'

Signed 'Low' in lower right. Inscribed in ink 'To M.H. Croll from His truly Henry Lawson Syd. 7/6/16'.

Dated 'with the deepest sympathy of Low 21/8/16', lower left
