Accompanying the slides are four lists titled 'Papuan slides. R. Cameron', 'Rev. A. E. Hunt's Slides ...', 'Lantern lecture ... F.J.S. "1934" slides rearranged ...' and 'Reel 1', and an anonymous set of lecture notes. Only 11 of the slides can be identified from the lists; the remainder have been grouped into subjects. The lecture notes indicate that the associated people were concerned with the London Missionary Society, and that the slides were presented for fund raising. Included are copies of historical illustrations, portraits of Rev. Dr. Chalmers and other missionaries, scenes of village life, of missionary schools, of churches, and general scenic views.
A miscellaneous group includes views of picnicking on Sydney Harbour, of Scotland, Ceylon and the Arctic.
