None of the sketches by Helms is signed or dated. Dates given are those of the expedition, and from sketches by others in the volume. Three sketches are signed 'CF' [letters interwoven as monogram] [C. Fuller], and two of these are dated in 1893. Eight sketches are signed D.N. Saunders, dated in 1893, and all with the note 'Enlargement from photo'.
