Signed and dated 'L. Green. 1850' at lower left. These inscriptions seem to have been added after 1936 as a reproduction of the drawing in the following article, Hancock, W.K. 'Early settlement in South Australia' published in 'The geographical magazine' Vol II, no. 6, April 1936, does not show a signature or date.
