The photo. albums include views of Sydney Ancher's houses, as well as photos of works by the company. Major works include buildings within the University of Sydney, sections and stations of Eastern suburbs railway, St. Augustine's church and school.

The plans and drawings are arranged alphabetically within the following groups: schools, colleges etc., churches, presbyteries, etc. NSW Government public works, Australian Government public works, commercial buildings, clubs, residences. The earliest drawing 1934 by Fowell and Maclurcan, is for a North Bondi church, and the latest 1979, is a competition entry for a National Archives centre in Canberra.
