  • General note

    Jessie Traill's series of six etchings and two aquatints created during the years 1927 to 1932, documents the construction of Sydney Harbour Bridge. The fifth print in this series, titled Sydney Bridge V Going Up, 1930, is closest to this drawing and is probably based on it.

    Includes framer's label, (top has been cut off): `Thos. Whitelaw & Co. Artistic Framers 242 Elizabeth St. Melbourne.' The drawing was not received in a Whitelaw frame.
