    Signed '[T?]B. Eas[st?] 1834'. Partly covered inscription on remnants of piece of paper pasted to wooden panel reads 'colony. Considered a [goo?]d likeness when taken. He died 27th Sept. 1844'. This inscription is signed 'J.S. Dowling 15.12.92'.
