Spencer to Mitchell library, 6 January 1941 lists the item: "Australia's first Luna Park. Original watercolour, actual size of drawing 24 1/2" x 16" by C. G. Coulter (signed) depicting what must have been Australia's first effort at a Luna park. This effort was constructed at a beach near Bondi...This picture gives an excellent drawing of the switchback railway with myriads of flags flying, the fish pond, the garden walks, the rest houses..."
