  • Description source

Information transferred from Pictures Card Catalogue as part of the eRecords Project, 2008-2009.
  • General note

The original is unsigned, undated and untitled. The painting was attributed to John Clark by Mrs. L. M. Woodgate, a descendant of Clark, who lent the painting for copying, 1968. This attribution seems extremely doubtful; the style of the painting shows some similarities to 'Mosman's Bay, Sydney, 1880' (DG V1A/20) by an unkown artist, but little similarity to others attributed by Mrs Woodgate to Clark.
