The collection includes views of houses, homesteads, buildings, bridges, churches, industrial sites and landmarks in Sydney and suburbs, the Parramatta and Hills district, the South Coast, Berrima and the Southern Highlands. Also included are sketches of ships and ferries on Sydney Harbour, beaches and waterways, and some views in Tasmania and New Zealand.

Not signed or dated. Some pencil sketches appear to have been titled by the artist. Most dates and identifying notes on the works have been attributed by the artists daughter, Miss Janet Cosh.
