  • Scope and Content
Kaiya Aboagye's major project for the 2007 NSW Board of Studies Aboriginal Studies program comprises a theory component, looking at fashion as a vehicle of identity in regards to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth, and a practical component, creating four contemporary dresses that showcase Indigenous and Torres Strait Islander culture. The completed theory component is integrated with a logbook documenting the creation of the dresses. The completed dresses are modelled in the logbook and were also photographed by the State Library of NSW for the Aboriginal Studies HSC Major Project copying initiative.

Includes transcript of an interview by Kaiya Aboagye with Bronwyn Bancroft, Aboriginal artist & designer, 25 May 2007
