    John Biscoe, sea captain and explorer, commanded the 1830-1832 Enderby Brothers Antarctic Expedition on the Tula and Lively, came to Sydney with family in the Superb in 1837, sailed in the Marian Watson 1839-1840 and subsequently moved to Hobart in 1840. Biscoe died at sea on his way home to London in 1843
