    Photograph albums at Mitchell Library call nos. MOM 239-MOM 249 and MOM 252-MOM 255 attributed to Rev. John Wear Burton by Dr. Christine Weir, Honorary Lecturer, College of Asia & the Pacific, Australian National University, September 2018. Attribution based on dates and places tallying with Burton's trips in the Pacific and comparison of handwriting of captions in the albums with his letters and notes.
