  The contents of this sketchbook include drawings in France (Modane, Argue River, St Michaels, Lanslebourg), Italy (Suza, Mount Cenis) and England (Isle of Wight).

  This sketchbook is a small portrait format with three extant gathers. Three works have been tipped in from elsewhere in this sketchbook and sections especially toward the end are missing. The sketchbook shows the final leg of Glovers’ Italian tour with subject matter following on from SB87 which concludes 28 October 1818. Missing are sketches 34, 36, 52 (a whole page scene of Chamberry, ink wash) and 54-63, the highest extant numbering being 64 (12 sketches, possibly more are missing).
