  The sketchbook is in landscape format with a bound leather spine and marbled covers with the label `Chester’. A large part has been cut and pulled out with only five sketches remaining, three are fixed and two are on loose leaves. Leaves have been numbered in ink, possibly same ink and hand as what has been put on the original sketchbook number.
