ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

Von Guerard accompanied Professor Georg Neumayer to Mount Kosciusko in 1862 on a survey expedition for the Victorian colonial government. This is one of 2 sketchbooks used on that occasion.
