  Hugh Ramsay, artist, met George and Amy Lambert on board ship in September 1900, while travelling to Europe. Both Ramsay and Lambert studied at the Acadmie Colarossi.

  5 Sketches
  No. 1-3 - Hugh Ramsay, one of which is signed and dated 1902
  No. 4 - Mrs. G.W. Lambert, aged 27, dated 1900. There is a rough sketch of a man on the verso
  No. 5 - Lumberjacks, unsigned, undated
  49 photographs, numbered 6-54. These show Lambert as war artist, Lambert at work on paintings, a plasticine study for 'The Anzacs - Desert Mounted Corps Memorial', views of the Lambert Memorial Exhibition, 1930: photographer 'A. Foster of Gladesville, The Hugo Meyer Collection, family photographs taken with horses. Photographs no. 49 and 50, inscribed 'With compliments N.Hill, Melbourne, May 1931. No. 54 inscribed 'To my wife, G.W. Lambert, April 29, 1921'.
