  • General note

    Caption from "A Different Perspective" exhibition - On the left can be seen the then new tram shed on Bennelong Point, which was replaced by the Opera House. Alongside are mail steamers including the Ventura, which brought Vaniman to Australia from Auckland. On the extreme right is the Australian Steamship Navigation Company's building, which still stands between Hickson Rd and Circular Quay West.
