  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    William Lawson junior (1804-1861) was born on Norfolk Island on 2 August 1804, the second son of explorer William Lawson and his wife Sarah, nee Leadbeater. He married Caroline Icely in 1832. They settled at Macquarie Plains and had eight children. Their neighbours were John and Maria Street.
