Their creation, in November 1796, by government printer, George Hughes, marked the beginning of an industry that has grown into one of Australia's largest and most technologically advanced manufacturing sectors. / This limited edition reproduction set is one of five produced to commemorate '200 Years of Printing in Australia', the offical launch of the Printing Industry Bicentenary, on wednesday 20th November 1996."
