  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    David Law was a landscape painter and etcher who was apprenticed to an engraver and studied at the Trustees Academy from 1845 to 1850. He worked as an engraver for twenty years before resigning to concerntrate on watercolours -- Dictionary of British Watercolour artists up to 1920 / H.L. Mallalieu.
