  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    John Harris (1754-1838), surgeon, arrived in Sydney on the 'Surprize' in June 1790. In 1793 he bought James Ruse's farm and built Experiment Farm Cottage. He was made a magistrate in 1800.
