  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Reverend T.T. Reed (1902-1995) in his ministry of 48 years became a Canon of St. Peter's Cathedral then Archdeacon of Adelaide, Dean of Adelaide (1953-1957), the Bishop of Adelaide (1957-1973) and finally in 1973 the Archbishop of Adelaide. His research on the life and work of Henry Kendall began in 1930 when he submitted a thesis to the University of Adelaide where he was awarded a doctor of letters in 1952. He published several works on Henry Kendall including, The poetical works of Henry Kendall (1966) as well as books of his own poems `Sonnets and songs' (1962).
