- General note
There is little record documenting Stage 3 of the completion of the Opera House after Utzon's involvement ceased. This collection documents design details, budgets and gives an insight into the response of the firm of architects and their perception of their role in completing the building. Included are photographs of the Opera House; principal among these is a set of 22 Max Dupain prints (8 iconic images and 14 technical and construction photographs) adding to the Library's holdings of Dupain. -- Notes from the Statement of Significance, Mitchell Library accession file (Oct 2006)
