    The City of Wagga Wagga thanks Gormly for his representation of the Murrumbidgee and Wagga electorates, his efforts in regard to Federation and land laws, and for the monuments of the Hampden Bridge, Court House, School of Arts, the Wagga Wagga Hospital and the Murrumbidgee Pastoral Association.
  • Scope and Content
    Comprises watercolour and manuscript illuminated address with a surround of Australian native flowers, four corner watercolours of Wagga Wagga Courthouse, Hampden Bridge, Hospital (?) and School of Arts. Framed in timber, with gilded beading on the inner edge and carved outer edges. Signed by the Executive: A.J. Blake (Chairman), Chas [Charles] Hardy, P.Williamson, C.Moran, J.Jeremy, I.F. O'Regan (Joint Hon.Sect.).

    Inset top centre is a head and shoulders oval portrait photograph of James Gormly with "JC" monogram above. Centre below is the original coat of arms of Australia
