  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The New South Wales Constitutional Association was founded in 1925 and changed its name to the Constutional Association of New South Wales in 1931. It promoted the maintenance of constitutional government in opposition to Communism and all unconstitutional methods, as well as a better appreciation of the rights and duties of citizenship among the Australian people. The Association held regular luncheons featuring guest speakers covering a range of public issues. The Association became the Constitutional Association of Australia in 1956.
