  "AIR - There will be equal facility in all large buildings for alighting and "checking" in one's moth plane or semi-human wings exactly as one at present does with one's hat or umbrella, taking a form not unlike a vertical dovecote, with "closed" or "vacant" indicators according as these niches are occupied or otherwise, parallel to these will be elevators or practically vertical conveyors. It must not be supposed that this evolutionary change will bring about perfectly harmonious conditions - vehicular congestion will occur in the air in fifty years time as it occurs on the ground now - because it is a material precipitate of the same mental lack of harmonious thought and movement." -- Norman Weekes, "Sydney in fifty years time".
